Dallas Police Appeal For Help To Find Killer Driver
Dallas police have appealed to the public for any information which might help them locate the driver of a red 1999 Ford F150 pickup truck which was involved in a fatal hit and run collision in Dallas on Monday afternoon. The truck crashed into a motorcycle which was traveling along Northwest Highway, near a bridge over Dallas North Tollway. The motorcycle rider, identified as Roland Olvera (41), fell 20 feet onto the Dallas North Tollway below and later died at Parkland Memorial Hospital.
Police say the van has a Texas license plate which they believe to be 59-CRH8. The pickup is also equipped with a toolbox in the bed and chrome wheels. If you have any information which might be useful, please call 911 or Dallas Police Department's vehicle crimes unit at 214-620-5818.
